Libertas of Kingdoms Dual, Scales of War, Valiant Roar is a game I worked on in Unity as a team of four over the course of two weeks for my Studio Project 4. Players play as the king in a kingdom, walking around the different areas of the kingdom and interacting with your subjects. When you are ready, you enter the battlefield, strategically deploying your troops and taking control of one hero with multiple abilities and attack, and command those troops in battle. As the battles go on, players will be able to get more different heroes and troops, such as archers and mages.

 

For this project, I mainly focused on the kingdom management and interactions side of things, creating the NPCs with multiple dialogue options, the branching dialogue system which responds to the player's current resources and flags and affects resource amounts, as well as the resource management, which unlock different options and leads to different endings. Other than that I also created the mage player hero, with a charged attack, personal teleport and mass teleport.


The project was fairly well received in the end, and  I got an A for my contributions.
